OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES.

EACH SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY WILL HAVE AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING.

Lockheed Federal Credit Union is the sponsor of the Sweepstakes. The Credit Union’s business address is: 2340 Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA  91505.

Sweepstakes Period:  Week one: Sweepstakes starts February 13, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends February 19, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Week two: Sweepstakes starts February 20, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends February 26, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Week three: Sweepstakes starts February 27, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends March 5, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Week four: Sweepstakes starts March 6, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends March 12, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Week five: Sweepstakes starts March 13, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends March 19, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Week six: Sweepstakes starts March 20, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends March 26, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. PST. 

Eligibility:  To qualify for the Sweepstakes, all entrants must be at least 18 years of age and a member in good standing with the Credit Union. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Credit Union.  Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. 

Sweepstakes Entries:  Members may enter the drawing by signing up for Web BillPay and paying at least one bill online or by legibly printing their name, address, phone number, account number, and the words “LFCU Web BillPay Promotion” on a 3” x 5” card and mailing it to LFCU Web BillPay Promotion, Attention: Jennifer Bunda, P.O. Box 6759, Burbank, CA  91510 (one entry per envelope). If an entry form is drawn, but judges are unable to determine the winner because of illegible writing, that entry form will be disqualified.  No copies, mechanical reproductions, or metered mail accepted.  Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery. The Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, postage-due, or illegible entries or mail. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Credit Union and will not be acknowledged or returned. Members may sign up and pay their bill at any LFCU branch or personal computer with Internet access. No paper copies or other mechanical reproductions will be accepted as entries. The Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries. 

Prize Drawings:  LFCU will draw weekly entries from members who make a bill payment anytime between February 13, 2005 and March 26, 2005. The more frequently you use the Web BillPay service, the greater your chance to win each week. The selection and prize structure are as follows:
· If the first bill selected is greater than $100, no more entries will be selected for that week.
· If the first bill selected is equal to or less than $100, a second entry will be selected.
· If the second bill selected is equal to or less than $50, a third entry will be selected.
· Each individual bill selected is capped at $1,000 regardless of the amount of the bill.
· The minimum award per winning entry is $10.00.

There may be up to 18 (6 weeks with up to 3 winners each week) prize drawings. Based on the above structure, the total prize amounts for a six-week period will be up to $6,900. Sweepstakes Prize value up to $1,000 will be reported to the IRS and may be taxable as income to the prize recipient. Winner/Prize recipient is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes on the prize.

The first drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, February 22, 2005. LFCU will randomly select entries from the first weekly file. All entries received after February 19, 2005 will be entered for the second drawing. The second drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, March 1, 2005. The second drawing will combine the first weekly file and the second weekly file. Entries will be randomly selected from this combined file. The third drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, March 8, 2005. The third and subsequent drawings, will add the current week’s files to the combined previous week’s files. Entries will be randomly selected from the combined files. The fourth drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, March 15, 2005. The fifth drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, March 22, 2005. The sixth and final drawing will be held at 2:00 p.m. PST, March 29, 2005. Entrants need not be present and will be notified by phone, mail and/or email.  Contestants cannot win more than once during the life of the contest. A complete list of winners will be available upon request.  Throughout the entire contest, there will be only one winner per household per drawing.  
 
Consumer Disclosure: Odds of winning depend upon number of entries received and are estimated to be 1:1000.

Liability/General Rules:  The Credit Union is not responsible for any loss, which may occur in connection with the Drawing. Entrants agree to hold the Credit Union harmless from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of the prize. The Credit Union and each of its officers, directors, employees, members, and representatives and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of entrants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance, receipt, possession, or use/misuse of prizes awarded or participation in this Sweepstakes. The Credit Union is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Sweepstakes. Prizes cannot be substituted, converted to cash, assigned, or transferred by winners. The Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules and regulations or who make any misrepresentations relative to the Sweepstakes and redemption of a prize. 

Tax Issues: The Credit Union will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. Winners are responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prizes.

Publicity Authorization:  Each winner agrees to permit the Credit Union to utilize his/her name and likeness in promotional and other Credit Union materials, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

Arbitration:  Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively, by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and shall be held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement, and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney’s fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and entrants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Choice of Law:  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and the Credit Union in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to choice of law rules.
